You can’t imagine how frustrated I get when I hear people saying “but you’re thin you don’t need to workout.”
What I want to tell people who don’t understand the unlimited benefits of working out is I don’t workout to get thin, I workout to keep my sanity, to keep a healthy mind, to stay happy, think clearer and sleep better.
I workout to detoxify my body from all the stress and toxins of everyday life, I workout to improve my circulation so my heart and lungs can function better, I workout to keep my muscles supple and strong and my joints limber so I can fend for my self at an old age and I don’t need someone to help me tie my shoes.
I workout so that when I get sick or injured I recover quicker, I workout to use my body at its maximum capacity, I workout to stay strong, healthy and capable of doing anything at any age, I workout because if you don’t use it you lose it and most importantly, I workout because this is a passion that I can’t live without so being thin is just the icing on this massive cake of benefits.
